I can't say for sure whether it'd work for anyone else. Reboot or go to device manager and select scan for hardware change and they keyboard should be working. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> System -> CurrentControlSet -> Control -> Classįind this key 4d36e96b-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318 and select itÄouble click on UpperFilter and remove ETD leave kbdclass Open Start and type Registry Editor and select Yes when it asks for permission To change the UpperFilter value in registry to kbdclass, follow these steps: Select browse from my computer and then select let me pick from available drivers Select keyboards and right click on the ELAN Keyboard Filter Device then click Update Driver To change the keyboard driver I did the following things: All I had to do was change the keyboard driver to Standard PS/2 from ELAN in Device Manager and in registry change the UpperFilter value to kbdclass instead of ETD kbdclass.
